Man oh man did I suprise mom and dad today! I have been taking about six steps for several weeks, last night I took ten. Then today, it happened! I took 15, then 17, then 30, then I was off!!!!! I’m still wobbly, but boy, I don’t think I’ve ever seen mom and dad so happy! They tell me there is no greater joy than seeing the person they love most accomplish something that was impossible just a few weeks ago. Pride seems too simplimstic to describe what they are feeling. Now I’m ready to go teetering off into the world. Enjoy!

How proud we are of you. I am so thankful Pap gave me the lap top computer with the skype. I saw you walking last night and today. You look so cute walking around and you even waved at me. When you climb the steps, with Mom or Dad right behind you, you always look back at me waiting for me to clap and say yeah Canton. What joy and happiness you bring to everyone. We will be seeing all of you at Easter and then again on your first Birthday. What a happy time we will all have. Keep on walking!!! Good job Canton! I cant wait to see you in May,so we can run around the yard together. Its so hard to believe that it is almost a year since you were born. You have brought so much joy and excitement to our family, I am so glad that I have been able to keep up with all of the things that you have learned to do.
