Rhonda arrived on Thursday evening, on Friday we headed up 95/17/66/81 (ughhh) to see Pap, Poppy, Grandma, and Beth! We had to stop a few times both ways but Liberty did not get sick!! Hooray!

The kids had a great time at Pap’s getting pulled on the wagon behind his new tractor (attached with a screwdriver!! 😜). Rhonda thought her princess was going to turn into a farm girl! 🙂

Later that evening we roasted marshmallows, collected fireflies, and played games as all three kids spent the night at Poppy and Grandma’s for the first time. Adleigh was a little scared to not be in her bed but they all had a great time!

The next day we had a cookout to celebrate Liberty’s birthday. We played cornhole, ate, and Liberty opened some owl presents!

On the way back home we stopped in to visit their Great great aunt Margie! We are so blessed to have visited her, she definitely still has a sharp wit!

And the answer to Adleigh’s question every thirty seconds: yes, we are home now! 🤗

Adleigh is so happy to have Lou home for the summer! She says “we are sisters and best friends!”

I hope it always stays that way. In this shirt she says it’s Lou (purple), mommy (blue) and me (Adleigh pink) and we are together forever!

Great day playing games and swimming! Mike loved his hot sauce, dad joke book, and taco socks. Thankful for having this guy as their dad! It’s been a crazy ride but I’m glad I get to do it with him!

Adleigh gave them a book to celebrate a great year! I had to get a picture of her last stroller ride to the bus until next year.

End of the year show

We went to the pool this weekend! Adleigh took off her floats for a bit and started “swimming”. Lou and Canton enjoyed getting some strokes in.

Plus some mud fun

Nanny and Rhonda came up on Mother’s Day and stayed for a few days, went to Pap’s, then came back. We enjoyed having them here!

We played bubbles, water table, and Nanny taught Adleigh has to push herself on her swing!! We went berry picking, rode the ferry, got ice cream, went shopping over course, and perhaps the most fun, played with a crazy face swap app and saw everyone old and as opposite genders, mommy made a scary looking man!

Can’t wait until they come back!
