32 Weeks!

What a big few days it has been!  Ms. Kathy at physical therapy has really been making me work hard but it is already paying off.  I am trying to get into crawling position and she said I was very strong!  I still have lots of work to do but I am getting stronger every day!  I am also becoming quite the chef – I hope my latest batch of cookies turn out as well as the last!

I wanted to thank everyone at Dad’s work for letting him win me this large teddy bear!  Dad said many people wanted the bear for their little ones but they were all sweet enough to let Dad win it for me.  I hope the pictures of me with my new bear are reward enough for everyone at the school board office.  Thank you!

Just a few more days until Christmas – I am excited to see what all the fuss about this day is!

Top Chef

Every great chef has a fantastic assistant to back them up.  Today, mom assisted me in creating some chocolate chip oatmeal cookies.  Not bad for a first attempt, I know I have much more cooking in my future.  Can’t wait until I’m old enough to lick the beaters, Dad told me all about that!

Baby It’s Cold Outside…

Well, I’m getting used to this crazy white stuff outside. This is my second snow–this one is A LOT bigger than the last one though–14 inches! Mom and Dad decided to bundle me up in the snow suit again, I guess I was more used to it than last time, I actually gave them a few smiles. Silly Mom jumped into the snow and started waving her arms and legs around. She described the snow angel concept to me and I thought I would give it a try, it was pretty fun! I’m sure I’ll like snow a lot more when I’m bigger. Right now I love it because it means extra time with Mom, and maybe even Dad!

I tried some real bananas–not a fan!  I just like my veggies so much more than fruit!

I had physical therapy yesterday and Miss Kathy is so impressed with my progress!  I’m liking being on my tummy much more and I’m looking to my left with ease.  Crawling won’t be too far away!

Poor Granny called and said she was chilly because it is only getting up to 68 today, stay warm!

7 Months!

Can you believe it? I’ve been here for seven whole months! Mom and Dad were reflecting on their last Christmas, they said this Christmas is going to be the best ever because of ME! I look a little different this month because of my helmet, but it is already making a difference. I have physical therapy tomorrow, I’ll be sure to let everyone know how it goes.

We celebrated the day by practicing standing, cruising (I made it halfway down the couch all by myself!), and wrapping presents. New on the menu–pears and applesauce. I’m not really a fan of the sweet stuff, veggies for me! Of course, I played a lot, I’m really interested in the wheels in my toys, I’m trying to figure out how these crazy things work. Then Mom really had to get some stuff done around the house and she stuck in me in this crazy basket, but I really liked it! I also helped in the kitchen today, and found a fun new toy–a bag of french fries. Dad says that I’ll get so many interesting more toys in just 12 days if I continue to be a good boy!

30 Weeks!

Well, this week brought about several changes.  Mom, Dad, and I went to Wake Forest yesterday (12/8) where they diagnosed me with torticollis (wry neck) and plagiocephaly (flat head).  I have to wear this helemt for about four months to help mold my skull.  I don’t mind it too much though, mom might actually be able to take off the chin straps in a few days if I continue to leave it alone.  Don’t worry about me, it is just like braces, only on your head.  It is definitely harder on everyone else than me, I just look that much cuter!

O Christmas Tree!

Dad put up this crazy tree in our house today.  I was super interested and tried to grab off all the decorations.  I sat for over half an hour just curiously watching dad put up the tree while silly mom sang songs.  The say I’m getting lots of presents in 19 days, I must be such a good boy!

First Snow!

What a day!  I began the day doing some work with Dad and enjoying green beans for the first time, I loved them (I’m definitely my mother’s son).  Then Mom and Dad took me outside in some extremly constrictive outfit–my new snowsuit from Grandma and Grandpap!  I wasn’t too sure about the cold white stuff that was all over the ground, all is know is I wanted to touch it but these crazy gloves kept me from doing so!  I noticed all the changes around me and was quite curious to understand the changed landscape.  Why don’t they just let my hands out?  Mom says tomorrow we’re going to put a tree in the house!  Now I’m off to cheer on my Gators!  Stay tuned!

Santa!

I went to see Santa last night!  I’m not my smily self in the pictures because you know I’m not a big fan of strangers right now, I mostly did it for mom and dad.  I liked looking and feeling the Christmas Tree, if I ever give mom time she’ll put up ours eventually she tells me.  Once I knew they were okay we went to the basketball game for a bit.  I got to see my boy AJ, he made me feel a lot better in that big crazy room full of people I didn’t know.

29 Weeks!

I just keep right on growing.  I tried peas this week, I greatly enjoyed them, second to only my sweet potatoes.  My girl Jessica came to see me as well!  I’ve also been doing well with my sippy, even though I’m not a big fan of juice.  I’m been trying so hard to move this week, when mom or dad hold me up I’ve been taking several steps, now I can take steps backwards as well.  Mom thinks I’m going to skip the crawling stage all together.  Mom and Dad keep talking about this crazy holiday coming up in about three weeks, I’m sure I’ll give them many memories.  Can’t wait to see everyone!
