Liberty is 20 Months!

It’s hard to believe Liberty will be TWO in just four months!

We are still waiting for that vocabulary explosion but regardless, she is still able to communicate what she wants! I’m not sure if we want to hear what she has to say haha!

Liberty is definitely not afraid of anything! I’ve caught her several times trying to climb up Canton’s bed, she often tries to go over the back of the couch, she has thrown toys over the railing in the kitchen to the rec room, I’m just waiting until she tries to go through the rails! She definitely keeps me on my toes! I think this girl can do anything she sets her mind to!

She has gotten a few more teeth and her hair continues to grow. However it is in the weird limbo stage where it basically just looks like a mullet, but we still love her! Her fine motor skills are so far ahead of Canton at this time. She can put on her shoes, her undies, and loves to brush her hair. She is CRAZY about climbing the stool in the bathroom to wash her own hands, brush her own teeth, and follow the random bathroom routines she sees, she even likes to get her baby Q-tips when she watches Mike clean his ears! 🙂

She still loves cats, not sure where she came from on that on, wearing all her shoes, dressing up, and most mornings can be found making food for her babies in her kitchen.

Can’t wait to see what the next four months bring! 🙂

The Talented Mr. Canton

Canton had the talent show tonight! The first couple jokes were not as smooth as the practice because the teacher/M.C. actually said his exact jokes while waiting for some technical difficulties with another act. GRRRRRRRR. But, he recovered pretty well! 🙂 Cute (and surprise ending)–“Thanks for listening, Don’t forget to tip your waitress!” What a jokester! 🙂

Talent Show Practice

Canton auditioned and was chosen to participate in the talent show on 2/9/15. This clip is from the practice they held today (2/5).

He was nervous about staying after school being one of only two K students, but he did a super job once he knew I was not leaving him there! 🙂 He definitely stood out among the dancers, recorder players, and pitchy Frozen/Taylor Swift songs 😉
