Schools Out For Summer!

Yay! Summer is officially here! I’ve had a great first week off with mom!

We’ve been doing a lot of calendar stuff, playing with trains (of course), went to gymnastics, playing with water/mud, and my new favorite activity–MATH!

I’ve been really interested in numbers since forever, but I’ve discovered that you can add and subtract and end up with different numbers! When we’re laying in bed and have finished stories I’ll tell mom and dad “I want to do math please” so we’ll represent different numbers (with objects) and add to them or take away. I still mostly have to count quantities, but I am definitely learning the meaning!!

We’ve also been to Mrs. Jessica’s farm a few times! I just love to see Magnus and Kevin Bacon! I even told mom and dad that I was going to dream about Magnus! Before we left I told Roxy that I was going to see Magnus, but “don’t worry, he’s a big dog but he’s nice and won’t hurt you and I love you!” How cute! ๐Ÿ™‚

Can’t wait to see what else we have in store! ๐Ÿ™‚

Happy Third Birthday!

Can you believe it? THREE!! Time sure does fly when you do as much as I do!

We had a fun party, Poppy, Grandma, and Beth came down to see me! I had an amazing Spencer cake, which I did not eat of course, I was too full of strawberries! I enjoyed all my presents, Thomas of course! ๐Ÿ™‚ I opened Rhonda and Mal’s presents via Skype, miss everyone!

Mom forgot a candle, so Saturday morning before the party we had to run to the Dollar Store. I told mom at the store that “we should get a present for Lilamae because she needs a presents since I’m getting a lot of presents” AWWWW!

Jess, Brian, and Dad worked on building by Legos, how many degrees does it take to build a Thomas Mountain?

We wrapped up the evening painting the shed, I told mom that I couldn’t stop for a picture because “I’m busy painting the shed, it’s hard work!”

Here’s to another great year! ๐Ÿ™‚

Three Year Old Photos

We had my Three-year-old pictures done today. The photographers said I was the BEST little boy, a ham, and super smart.

They didn’t need to do any of that silly stuff with stuffed animals and funny faces for me, I easily posed and smiled, or I would yell the word “government” or “cooperate” to smile! I was making everyone in the store laugh!

I also had my last swim lesson today. Dad dunked me underwater, I was not a big fan. I told him “Dad, don’t do that anymore! I don’t like going under!” That will change soon enough at Nanny’s pool!

Easter 2012

The Swimmin’ Hole

I’ll soon be back in Nanny’s pool so I started swimming lessons today! I had a TON of fun, I wasn’t scared of the water at all! I even remembered “Freddy the Fish” from Nanny’s house. After my lesson was over we stayed for another hour! I’m a regular Michael Phelps!

Charlie

We visited Winchester this weekend. We got to see Poppy, Grandma, GG, Great Daddy, Beth, Mal, and Pap. I had a great time, and especially loved skipping my nap/quiet time!

Poppy and Grandma gave me a new engine (just want I needed right?!) and when I opened it I gave everyone a great laugh. I tore open the paper and said “Charlie, here Poppy, you be Charlie because that’s your name!” Now, how the heck I knew that is quite a mystery to everyone, I’ll never tell my secrets! ๐Ÿ™‚

I had fun walking around lots at Mal and Pap’s house and investigating all the stop signs and big houses!

Can’t wait to see everyone again at Easter! ๐Ÿ™‚

Time Flies

I’ve been pretty interested in looking at our calendar on the refrigerator so mom has hung up a classroom calendar in our dining room! I’m in heaven!

I love changing the days each morning and checking the weather. I’ve gotten really good at it! I loved telling people the year and was so excited when February changed to March! It has helped me to learn to keep track of holidays and birthdays and learn my days of the week!

Time sure does fly when you are having this much fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

History Museum

Last week I went to Dr. Arone to check on my head. He is SUPER proud of my progress. I was going every 8 weeks, he bumped it to every 12 weeks!

After our appointment we visited the Schiele Natural History Museum in North Carolina. I had a great time looking a bugs, fossils, and even some real live animals, I especially loved making my pigs noise at the pigs! Mom and Dad thought it was hilarious when I called the grizzly bear a teddy bear. Tomato, tomato right?
