Nothing Like a Snow Day (First One of the Year!)

Yay! Wrestling is over and to celebrate we got 8 inches of snow! So much that Dad even got to stay home with us!

We had a great time walking in the snow, sled riding, and building a HUGE snowman! My favorite thing was walking around our driveway, I called it a river b/c almost all the snow as melted! As of writing this entry it is 51 degrees!! I guess we’ll be going to school tomorrow.

Jumping Bean

For about a year one of my favorite things to do it JUMP, anywhere, everywhere. Bed, off the slide, you name it. But, mom being mom only lets me jump where it is “safe”, so here is a bunch of pictures of me jumping on the chair. The funny thing is I told mom to “please take some pictures of me jumping on the couch for nanny to see on the website” not that I’m vain or anything…

What’s Canton Been Up To?

It has been a while since we lasted posted. Mom doesn’t have a lot of time since dad is busy with wrestling.

We FINALLY got a little bit of snow, I had a grand time playing in it! Mommy’s friend Julia came to see me! I went to a couple of daddy’s wrestling matches, and spent many evenings and Saturdays making crafts w/ mom.

TEBOW

Zoo Again!

I’m a HUGE fan of the zoo, so, we went again, this time with Jesse and Pap!

Christmas 2011

We were lucky enough to go to Nanny’s for Christmas this year! I was pretty concerned about Santa finding us, so we wrote many letters to him, and guess what, he did find us!

I was such a trooper during the 11 hr trip, Mom knows she has the best kid in the world! We left at 3:30 am both times and I only slept 2 hrs on the way down and 2.5 on the way back!

Nanny’s city offically has the best Christmas lights ever! We rode around lots of neighborhoods, we saw miles and miles of lights. One street even had dozens of overhangs “bridges” I called them, (PVC piping bent in a semi-cirlce over the road), so enchanting! I kept screaming “Oh, look at those Christmas lights!” I also sang all of Ruldoph and Jingle Bells, I learned those songs FAST!

I had such a wonderful time with my Nanny and the rest of the family. We played games, spent time outside, and just being together. I enjoyed lots of Nanny’s yummy cooking, her “skabetti” is still my favorite!

Speaking of favorites, Uncle Jesse is becoming one of my favs too! We spent lots of time together reading, walking, and playing Candyland (can you believe Mom got tired of this game?!?!?!)! He’s a pretty cool guy!

Christmas was incredible! I got just what I asked for from Santa: Spencer, books, and paper towels! I was quite excited about the paper towels! I think everyone’s favorite reaction was to the clothes I got, I throw the clothes and yelled “HANGERS!”

Grandpa sure loves me too, he gave me a lot of grown-up trains that he wants me to have when I get older. We were all pretty touched by his gesture.

I sure am a lucky guy, I have a pretty fantastic family who loves me more than I’ll ever know!

Holiday Pictures

I was so good during our recent photo session–the photographer said I should be a model b/c I listen so well w/ placing my hands, etc. Mom and Dad don’t seem too interested in that…Enjoy!

Rocking Around the Christmas Tree

Mom and Dad are so excited about this Christmas! I am offically the coolest and most excited kid ever! I decorated the tree all by myself, you can see my Thomas front and center–thanks Rhonda!

Mom got a countdown snowman that I love to change every morning and scream “Only x # of days until Christmas!” They also love the fact that when I’m asked what I want for Christmas I reply “nothing”, how cute am I? I definitely have enough toys!

I’ve also enjoyed baking the last few days, I’m a great helper and LOVE to measure and pour. Today we’re attempting a GINGERBREAD HOUSE! We’ll let you know! 🙂

Thanksgiving 2011

My THIRD Thanksgiving! WOW! Everyone couldn’t get over how much I have changed.

We were going to leave on Thursday, but I was so excited to leave I told mom that “I want to go see Poppy and GG, so we need to go today not tomorrow.” Talk about a smart fella!!

I warmed up to Poppy right away, we are total buds forever. He and Grandma gave me a ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas book and Poppy recorded himself reading it so I can listen to him every night! Poppy and I also played in piles and piles of leaves and chased each other for over three hours, while I stayed up WAAAAY past my bedtime.

I enjoyed a delicious meal, I especially loved the green beans, “mac-e-wony” and HAM.

We visited Clearbrook park where we saw tons of lights and I even saw SANTA!!! Mom talked me up to be brave, so I didn’t cry, but I did have quite a terrified look on my face! 🙂

Top it off with a Hokie victory and a big card game at GG’s house, quite a great holiday!
