I’ve been reading about ten or so words for about three weeks, everyone is super impressed! We also saw a HUGE double rainbow and took in a VT soccer game!
Cows and Sheep
We enjoyed the 4-H festival watching the cows and sheep. I was a little scared of the cows at first, but then I touched one, she was so soft! Good thing we live here, I wouldn’t get these opportunites is NOVA!
Architect in Training
A typical evening in our house now consists of hours building and rebuilding various places around the Island of Sodor. I’ve been getting into imaginative play for a couple of weeks, using voices and talking to my toys–so my record me for a few seconds without my knowledge! She thinks I’m so cute! Enjoy!

Hokies and Nanny!
Atlantic Ocean
We visited the Atlantic Ocean a few times too, we even saw the last shuttle launch! The water was definitely not as warm as the Gulf (check out Dad’s face) but it was great fun! I even learned about how the moon makes the waves!
Life on the Gulf Side
We visited the Florida Aquarium in Tampa and then traveled over to Clearwater to put our feet in the Gulf of Mexico. Mom and Dad LOVED Tampa! I just loved all the fish and playing in the ocean. So glad Nanny and Jesse came too! 🙂 (Videos will be coming)
Swimming and Fireworks
Swimming in Nanny’s pool with my “muscles”. I’ve been swimming in my bathtub every night since. Next Michael Phelps?! 🙂
Brevard Zoo Round Two
Had a great time at the zoo with my Nanny! Fed giraffes, birds, and identified all kinds of animals! Certainly had changed a lot since last year!
Dixie Caverns
Whew! Mom has been crazy busy learning things for her new job, I apologize for her not being more on top of it! She started back to work this week, she seems pretty happy about the job, but she is having a hard time leaving me. I just realized she hasn’t put up any FL pictures either…mom, what are you doing to these people!?
A couple weeks ago we went to Dixie Caverns, a little north of Christiansburg. Mom and Dad said it is nothing like this place called Luray Caverns, but I had a great time. I learned all about caves, rocks, and animals that go bump in the night. I was really brave when they turned off all the lights too! 🙂
Bye Florida!
I had such a great time in Florida! We stayed July 1 – 11. I sure love my nanny! Here’s a few pictures from our last night. Mom will put the other pictures on soon, we’ve been SUPER busy!
I’ve been saying “ready to go see Nanny now” since we’ve left. It is super sad, but Skype is a great thing!
Enjoy my spaghetti face!
