Part 2–slightly less crazy

Happy Thanksgiving 🙂

Canton said it was weird to have Thanksgiving with just us, “This just feels like a regular dinner.” But, we had a nice day.

Canton ran the Turkey Trot and posted a time of 10:12 and placed 5th in the age group (under 12). He was quite proud of his large medal!

We also had a great time watching the parade, seeing Santa on TV, cooking, eating, facetiming, and decorating for Christmas!

Can’t wait to see everyone!

Spent some time out today trying to get pictures, again, very hard with 3!  You can see Adleigh running away in a lot 😉

Liberty finally playing with Adleigh more!

Adleigh has sure come a long way in her 13 months!  When I think how things were a year ago, between houses/moving, Mike being gone for work, taking care of a 6 year old, 2 year old, and newborn, whew–we’ve come a long way baby!

Currently Adleigh is obsessed with bellybuttons.  She loves to chase Liberty and Canton around to look at their bellybuttons!  Canton always gets a good laugh out of it, Liberty only about half of the time.

She has the tinest sliver of a tooth poking through on the top.  She still doesn’t enjoy too much food, mostly yogurt/ceral and broccoli!

This girl can fly around the house now! She is getting so fast! No longer does she toddle around, she motors!  She loves keeping up with her siblings and much to my chagrin, she loves climbing the stairs!

Adleigh is a pro a getting what she wants.  She communicates well with pointing and grunting, she has added “dog” to the list of words she can say (mama, dada, hi, look) and signs “more” “all done” and “please”, which helps a lot in this crazy house.

Interest wise, despite having all the toys one could ask for, she mostly loves boxes, books, cups, and stuffed animals.

She still has her hearty laugh, which is my favorite sound in the whole world!  She is such a happy girl and we love watching her grow!

OMG The cutest thing just happened! Adleigh came downstairs with Liberty’s old/favorite boots on.

Liberty then said “hey, Adleigh is wearing my boots! I miss those boots.”

🙁

Then Adleigh toddled over to where we keep shoes and she brought Liberty her Minnie Mouse boots!!!  It was the cutest thing ever! 🙂 🙂
