We traveled to GGs house for Liberty’s first Thanksgiving! Canton enjoyed mounds of country ham and entertained everyone with all his knowledge and telling people Liberty couldn’t have any food because “she will choke and break herself.”
Liberty continues to stand instead of sit. She got to see her first snow yesterday and will celebrate 21 weeks with her first Thanksgiving!
Pap and Janice came for a visit today. Liberty was very happy with Pap, even though she’s entered that stranger anxiety stage she LOVED being held by Pap. Pap even made Mom go out and get some takeout lunch for us, can you believe she left us for 20 mins??? They took good care of us, I mostly entertained them with all my knowledge! See you all soon!
Canton and Dad traveled to UVA today to watch the Cavs take on the Hokies! Before the match they attended a Youth Clinic where Canton got to go on the arena floor and wrestle some UVA players and see lots of other kids! He even got a picture with Coach Kevin Dresser, head coach for VT (mom used to babysit for him)!
Canton’s favorites were the heavyweights, maybe he’ll be there one day 😉

Wow! 20 weeks! Liberty is working hard on standing, but even though Canton was sitting at this time, Liberty is a little more stubborn, she only wants to stand. She definitely has her own mind! 🙂

Liberty doesn’t last more than two minutes without trying to throw herself out if her Bumbo, escape my lap, anything to stand instead of sit!
Liberty has always been great at soothing herself, but she’s a full fledged thumb sucker now. She may look like canton, but he never learned the art of self soothing….no pacifier, no thumb, just a fuss!
