Our sweet girls is 10!

The day started with an owl sister picnic!

Liberty got her cute birthday shirts from Rhonda of course!

Then she opened presents from us, she particularly loved the snow globe. Owen was never far from the action.

Next up was FaceTime with Poppy, Grandma, and Beth. She is so excited for all the books to read and cuddles with her new stuffed owl, Celeste.

Then, Liberty FaceTimed with Nanny and got three owls shirts.

Finally, Liberty got to open presents from Rhonda! She loved the card that sings Happy Birthday and does fireworks! As Canton said, “I’ve never seen so much energy put into a card.” Liberty awwwed Solina the stuffed owl, the monster high doll with owl sidekick, and the Barbie mascot that is an owl!! She is very excited for all her new shirts and skorts. Liberty is perhaps most excited about the new purple silk sheets for her bed!

We enjoyed a great dinner and cake!

We then got to Facetime with Pap before heading to CW for fireworks! Happy Birthday Liberty! We love you!

Canton is 14 today!

We sang him Happy Birthday at 11:14, but he was not interested 🙂 A bit later, he came down and immediately started criticizing his flag table cloth 🙂

The girls decorated his Union Jack  cake!

Canton enjoyed opening all of his flag related gifts and finding mistakes in all of them 🙂

More presents!

Canton spent his last day being 13 still recovering from Covid. We are excited to celebrate with him tomorrow. We are so proud of the young man he has become!

Happy 13 full years Canton! I know year 14 will be so full of laughter, growth, and love! We love you!

Happy 42 Mike! You are spending your birthday at the playhouse working on Matilda to help Canton follow his passion. You may miss the wrestling room but you opened your heart to be roped into helping the theatre community.

It has been a tough year for most, but we have made a lot of memories along the way. Thank you for your willingness to lead, support, provide, and grow. We are so thankful for you!

Adleigh woke up earlier than normal because she was so excited to celebrate! She loves the new flamingo tablecloth she found on the table this morning along with a new book. She was so excited to show off her new “7 years flamazing” shirt from Rhonda!

Pap sent a card with way too much, but she has been studying Ben Franklin and shouted “Yay Ben Franklin!” when she opened her card haha

She wanted pasta salad for lunch (but no onions or tomatoes or basil mama) so basically noodles with a vinaigrette 🙂 Liberty made her a France buddy and a nice card. Then they spent the afternoon playing and having fun.

Dad came home a tad early and brought home something special 🙂

After lunch it was time for a present from mom and dad…

A new 20” bike with gears! She has loved riding bikes with Liberty but the 16 inch was getting a tad too small and she was working so hard to pedal up the hills. This one is a tad too big for her but she’s a hard worker!

Next, the presents from Becky and Ben, a game and a flashy new leotard for gymnastics!

Just as last year Adleigh requested chick Fila for dinner! Then, she got to FaceTime with Poppy, Grandma, and Beth. She already finished the two books from Beth and was excited to snuggle with her new flamingo.

Canton made her a sweet card and a country game. Liberty created a France themed creature for her. They gifted her a card game, a book on Paris, Racko (pap’s favorite!)and some crayola color animals.

Hopefully we can FaceTime with Rhonda and Nanny soon, hurricane Ian messed up the power situation but thankfully they missed any of the terrible damage suffered by the west of Fl.
