Oh my goodness! I could not have had more fun than at the zoo! I saw so many animals, I was pointing and talking up a storm! Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpap, and Aunt Beth were sooo proud of me! Even though is was over 100 degrees I didn’t cry the WHOLE time. Mom said all other zoo trips will be downhill from this one because I’ll never be as good as I was this time! I’m quite a troooper!
My favorite attraction was the Small Mammals House, I saw lots of interesting animals and it was inside. The apes were pretty cool too. They climbed across a rope 40 feet in the air without a net! One even pooped from overhead right near us! Mom and Dad will never forget the look of excitement and curiousity in my eyes and my squeals of delight, it is one of the best feelings they have ever had. Thanks Grandpap and Grandma for a trip Mom and Dad will never forget!

Wow what a weekend you had! I really like the picture of you walking next to Grandpap Murphy…it shows just how much growing you have in store! Hopefully someday when you are a bit older you can make a trip over for the San Diego Zoo. Tell Mom and Dad hi for me, miss you all.

What a wonderful day you had at the zoo with Mom. Dad, Grandma, Grandpap and Aunt Beth. I am so glad you had such a fun time seeing all of the different animals and, as always, you were such a good boy….I bet the animals were talking to each other saying “Look at that good little boy Canton Gregory”. You are so lucky because some little boys and girls do not get to go to the zoo until they are much older. Everyone in your family love you so much and we all want to take you different places and enjoy every minute of your adventures.
It looks like you and Grandpap were “watching the garden grow”. When the vegetables are ready maybe you can help pick and eat them. Grandpap really looks so proud of you!!!
