Congrats to Adleigh on her first meet of the season. She moved up to Silver this year and the competition is stiff! She placed 6th on beam and bars and was 9th overall. Congratulations, Adleigh!

Mike, Liberty, and Adleigh again took to the stage to tell the beautiful story of a Christmas Carol and the magic of having love in your heart.
I am so proud of Liberty for working through anxiety and stretching herself, of Adleigh for expressing her heart and for being a good sister to Liberty and the two more girls she has gained along to way (Tessa and Kora) and of Mike for giving so freely of his time to his girls. What a gift!

It’s a family affair as always—thanks to Canton and friends for ushering as I helped backstage.

Canton stars as “John Darling” in the JHS production of The Neverland Project. While the production is funny and an interesting twist on the classic Peter Pan, I am in awe of Canton’s dedication and perseverance. He juggles six AP classes (a FULL college load, if you will), plus his commitments to choir and Latin, all while progressing through VHSL state competition with “Mother of Exiles” which still is rehearsing and performing.
Thankfully Friday was snow day so he could sleep. As a reminder, he was dealing with the flu just two weeks ago through the talent show and super regional competition. When I say he gives everything, he literally does. Always in awe of him!
