Berry Pickin’

Friday and Saturday were SUPER fun days! Dad and I spent our Friday boy’s day building tons of Legos at the library and each day all weekend at the POOL! I can’t wait to go to Nanny’s! Saturday I took a music class at the country store, I’m quite interested in music and mom and dad just aren’t any help!

Then we went to Blacksburg to pick some organic blueberries and blackberries! I had the BEST time! I loved “taking a hike to pick berries” and screaming yummy as I ate them! I also tried to catch a rabbit but he was just too fast for me.

As always, we had a great weekend. I have the greatest dad in the world and he’s teaching me to become a great man, just like him. Word to your father! 🙂

Winchester Weekend

We headed up to Winchester this past weekend to visit with some family and friends. We had a cookout on Saturday, everyone was there! I made GG soooo happy showing her the “ford-bumper, eye-winker” trick she’s been doing to me for two years, it was my time to show her, she definitely agrees I’m smart now! Everyone had a great time with each other!

Then, on Sunday, Poppy and Grandma took me fishing for the first time ever!!! I had a blast! I helped Poppy reel in four fish and kept saying “more fish please, Poppy” because I just couldn’t get enough of it! I can’t wait to fish with him again! 🙂

Day Out With THOMAS!

Wow! Today was pretty much the best day ever! We went to Blowing Rock, NC (near Boone) to visit Tweetsie Railroad. Guess who was there? Thomas!!

When we first got there I had a complete meltdown over putting sunscreen on, but after that I was the happiest kid there! As soon as we got in the park I saw a real like Thomas the Tank Engine! Mom and Dad didn’t scheduled our ride until noon, so I had to wait two hours before riding him, but that was okay!

We played on a Thomas moon bounce, met Sir Topham Hatt, got a cool tattoo of Percy, ate some good food, and then FINALLY we got to ride on Thomas! I kept saying “ready to go, ready to go on Thomas” Mom and Dad just couldn’t get over my smile! We rode for 30 mins around the park, it was pretty much the thrill of my life so far!

Then we rode an awesome chairlift up to the top of the mountain. Mom was super scared, but I was super brave! I even asked to go on it again. At the top we saw a couple music shows and I fed some animals! I just loved the animals, the goats were probably my favorite, that is until a llama spit/snorted on me and Dad! I laughed and laughed! But I think Mom is scared for life!

Then we rode a merry-go-round and a ferris wheel! Can you believe they let me do all of this?? I’m the happiest kid ever!!!
Oh yeah, then on the way back we saw the Miracle on the Hudson plane!

Fun with Nanny and Grandpa

I’ve had such a great week with Nanny, Grandpa, Jag, and Dep. We’ve danced, sang, read, played with water, and spent a lot of time outside. They are amazed at how much I just ramble on and quite impressed with my appetite. They’ve coined me the “Little Dipper” because I love to dip food into any sort of sauce (dressing, ketchup, you name it). They are leaving in the morning, but I can’t wait to see them again in a few weeks!

Nanny and Grandpa

Nanny and Grandpa got here yesterday for a week-long visit! They spent a month at Myrtle Beach and now are here to see me!! We had a great time dancing, playing, reading, and checking out their motor home! Can’t wait to see what is in store!

Salem Red Sox

On Friday Mom, Dad, and I went to the Salem Red Sox game. While mom’s a huge baseball fan, I was most interested in climbing in and out of my chair. I enjoyed when the ball was hit, but otherwise it was all about climbing and people watching. They had fireworks after the game and after a little hesitation I greatly enjoyed them! I’ll be ready for the Fourth of July!
