Bye Summer!

Wow! It has been a long time since Mom posted! We have had quite a bit of changes! Dad has his new job as Chief Information Officer of Blue Ridge Community College, so yes, we are moving, we close on our new house at the end of September! 🙂

Most of the pictures that follow will be from Aunt Becky and Uncle Ben’s wedding in San Deigo! I got to fly on my FIRST AIRPLANE!

July Happenings

I’ve enjoyed my summer so much! So far this July I’ve got to spend time with lots of family members and go to some cool places!

Skyline Caverns was a thrill–I loved looking at all the rocks and to be in the cold and the dark. I even got to touch a rock, they don’t let you touch them except one. We also went to the Air and Space Museum which I LOVED! I asked all kinds of questions about the airplanes and got to see some real ones land/take off from the tower at Dulles!

I’m also learning soooooo much, especially math. Mom and dad can ask me questions like “If you have 3 trains and get 2 more how many do you have” and I impress them with the correct answers every time! I don’t even have to use my fingers 😉 Subtraction is a bit harder though, might just have to wait until I’m four for that!

Can you believe Mom even let me ride on a 4-wheeler with Ernie and Nanny? Well, she didn’t really let me, Nanny just made sure it happened! But Mom was pretty okay when she saw me grinning from ear to ear! Nanny even said that I could ride to FL with them in the motorhome and meet mom in CA in August for Becky’s wedding! Mom said she’d miss me too much and then I told her “It’ll be okay mom, don’t worry about it!” I got some big laughs out of that one!

Summer is a pretty precious time for me and mom, can’t believe it will be coming to an end soon. But, I’ll continue to grow and laugh no matter what the season!

Yay Summer!

What a great time I’ve had the last view weeks! I’ve hung out with Mal, Pap, Grandma, Poppy, Beth, Nanny, Grandpa, Rhonda, Mary, and Ernie, played in the dirt all day, and I took my first dive off the diving board!

Nanny and Grandpa Have Arrived!

Nanny, Grandpa, Jag, Dep, and the MOTORHOME are here to see me for the week!

We’ve had tons of fun already! Nanny has played in the dirt with me TONS, we’ve played soccer at the high school, she taught me red light/green light, and I even got to sleep in the MOTORHOME! Mom missed me, but I was super big and had the best time! We played games and ate lots of popcorn! They took me to DJs to get a milkshake too! I’ve done a lot of stuff w/o mommy and dad! Can you believe how much I’ve grown up?!

I’m going to even get to ride to Winchester in the motorhome without mommy and daddy!! I just love that motorhome! Almost as much as I love my Nanny!!

Schools Out For Summer!

Yay! Summer is officially here! I’ve had a great first week off with mom!

We’ve been doing a lot of calendar stuff, playing with trains (of course), went to gymnastics, playing with water/mud, and my new favorite activity–MATH!

I’ve been really interested in numbers since forever, but I’ve discovered that you can add and subtract and end up with different numbers! When we’re laying in bed and have finished stories I’ll tell mom and dad “I want to do math please” so we’ll represent different numbers (with objects) and add to them or take away. I still mostly have to count quantities, but I am definitely learning the meaning!!

We’ve also been to Mrs. Jessica’s farm a few times! I just love to see Magnus and Kevin Bacon! I even told mom and dad that I was going to dream about Magnus! Before we left I told Roxy that I was going to see Magnus, but “don’t worry, he’s a big dog but he’s nice and won’t hurt you and I love you!” How cute! 🙂

Can’t wait to see what else we have in store! 🙂

Happy Third Birthday!

Can you believe it? THREE!! Time sure does fly when you do as much as I do!

We had a fun party, Poppy, Grandma, and Beth came down to see me! I had an amazing Spencer cake, which I did not eat of course, I was too full of strawberries! I enjoyed all my presents, Thomas of course! 🙂 I opened Rhonda and Mal’s presents via Skype, miss everyone!

Mom forgot a candle, so Saturday morning before the party we had to run to the Dollar Store. I told mom at the store that “we should get a present for Lilamae because she needs a presents since I’m getting a lot of presents” AWWWW!

Jess, Brian, and Dad worked on building by Legos, how many degrees does it take to build a Thomas Mountain?

We wrapped up the evening painting the shed, I told mom that I couldn’t stop for a picture because “I’m busy painting the shed, it’s hard work!”

Here’s to another great year! 🙂

Three Year Old Photos

We had my Three-year-old pictures done today. The photographers said I was the BEST little boy, a ham, and super smart.

They didn’t need to do any of that silly stuff with stuffed animals and funny faces for me, I easily posed and smiled, or I would yell the word “government” or “cooperate” to smile! I was making everyone in the store laugh!

I also had my last swim lesson today. Dad dunked me underwater, I was not a big fan. I told him “Dad, don’t do that anymore! I don’t like going under!” That will change soon enough at Nanny’s pool!
